Chris Keating

Chris Keating is currently Executive Chef at The Pine Creek Cookhouse and previously the Executive Chef at The Hotel Jerome, Aspen’s 118-year-old landmark hotel. A longtime Aspen resident, Keating spent most of his teenage years working in restaurants, and ultimately pursued his love of cooking at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA).

Following his education, Keating landed a coveted culinary externship at L’Auberge de Sedona, where he met Chef Gary Kuntz who invited him to apprentice at Lespinasse, his landmark New York City restaurant.

Prior to joining The Hotel Jerome in 2006, Keating was sous chef at the Pine Creek Cookhouse, Aspen. He also launched Ruthie’s Restaurant as executive chef, and held various positions on The Little Nell culinary staff.
